I wish I could give you a ton of money but I can’t. I have none left. It’s all gone. It’s a serious serious serious problem.
I also wish I could tell you how to get a lot of money fast. If I knew, I’d do it myself.
The ONLY (ethical) way I know to get money is to help someone with something THEY care about.
Not what YOU care about.
Not what they TELL you they care about (they’re just mirroring you).
But what they ACTUALLY care about.
I posted a video where I talked about Beethoven and lots of people commented and talked to me about Beethoven. But they won’t pay for Beethoven. They’re only talking to me about Beethoven because I talked about Beethoven.
I ask someone how’s it going with piano and they say “I really want to get back into piano but I’m such a procrastinator.” This person will not pay for piano. They don’t care about piano. They’re only talking to me about piano because I talked about piano.
People have REAL problems on their minds. If you don’t know what those problems are, no money will change hands.
More “engagement” won’t get you more money. I have 90.2K subscribers on YouTube, 72.2K followers on TikTok, and 1.9K on Instagram. If each of them paid me $0.10, I wouldn’t be worried about money. But they won’t, not because my content isn’t good, not because I’m not smart and wise and insightful and generous and hardworking and entertaining and sexy, but because I DON’T KNOW THEM.
I can’t make offers they care about because I don’t know what they care about. It’s not because they don’t like me, or because they’re idiots, but because they don’t see the relevance to their REAL problems.
You have to get to know people. Intimately.
There’s no other way.
I’ve tried all the other ways.
Sorry, this business is a failure.

P.S. I’m not telling you to write people off because they don’t care about whatever you care about. They might care a little. And maybe they’ll care a lot next week. But, right now, they care about what THEY care about, not what you care about. Although, they’ll pretend to care about what you care about because they’re nice people. There are books about this and you should read them (I like The Mom Test).
P.P.S. Also, don’t overthink this the way I do. If you have an idea for an offer, just do it. Quickly. It’ll work sometimes.
